The inhabitants of the valley have taken care, during many generations, of its traditions and unique festivities which are still celebrated nowadays. The tradition of the “FALLAS” is without a doubt the most important one. It takes place during June and July in different locations of the valley. The fire as the symbol of the sun and purification is the main feature of the celebration.
